He found her standing near the edge of the ocean, head tilted slightly upward, as if her sightless eyes could see the full moon that hung in the sky.
A slight inclination of his head; a brief shadow flitting across the moon's surface. It was all the encouragement he needed to move forward and come to stand by her side.
She said nothing, but her eyes drifted down as he stared at her, finally able to observe her properly after the excitement of his ceremony. The dress she wore was as unfamiliar to him as the twin loopies in her hair. He wasn't used to seeing her dressed formally. When she did, it was usually in the colors of her own nation. B
